Lawerance Edward Ellenburg

Lawerance (Eddie) Ellenburg age 80 of Knoxville passed away Thursday April 7, 2022. He was of the Baptist faith, a avid golfer,Vols fan and enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. Eddie was preceded in death by father and step-mother, Earl and Edna Ellenburg, mother, Helen Lundy; sister, Billie Faye Ellenburg; daughter, Monique Shaw. He is survived by wife of 45 years, Louise Ellenburg; sons, Tim (Jackie) Wood, Eddie Ellenburg Jr.; daughters, Angie Clendennen and Kim (Renee) and son-in-law Mike Haun; 7 grandchildren, Tiffany and Marshall, Tabitha and Warren, Haley and Dustin, Erin and A.J., Kasey and Chad, Emma, and Ava; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Greg Ellenburg; sister, Connie Valentine; several nieces and nephews and in-laws. Eddie had a multitude of extended family and friends that he loved and who loved him. Special thank you to Holirose Lane neighbors and Tennova Hospice and especially nurse, Karie. The family will receive friends Monday April 11, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Haun officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday April 12, 2022 at Berry Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 1:00 p.m. Interment. Grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.
