Margaret Ann Brown, age 89, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Brookdale Sandy Springs Assisted Living Facility. Margaret was born July 21, 1932. Margaret obtained a Bachelors Degree in Education and was a well respected high school educator. She retired from the Georgia School System. Margaret was an active and devoted member of Smithwood Baptist Church with many beloved friends who she considered family. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and adored all animals. Margaret has been known as a kind, considerate person during her entire life, including the time during her illness. One will not forget her generous manner and sweet smile that would light up a room.
Preceded in death by parents, Richard Dewey Brown and Margaret Ferguson Brown.
Graveside service will take place 3:00pm Saturday, January 15th at Lynnhurst Cemetery, meeting in the Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home parking lot at 2:30pm for procession to graveside. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Tennessee Alzheimiers Association or local area animal rescue groups.
