Williams, Michael Raymond, 40, was born January 16, 1978 in Knoxville, of Powell, passed away unexpectedly on November 9, 2018. Michael had a love for gardening and cars. He learned the trade of auto-body repair and painting from his Dad while working beside him from childhood. Michael was devoted to the love of his life, Rachel and his entire family. He enjoyed spending time with his Nephews, Nieces, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews and took great pride in his title of “Uncle Michael.” Michael shared his birthday with two sisters, a niece, and two great-nieces. To say Michael will be deeply missed is a gross understatement.
Michael was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents Raymond and Mahala Jones, Paternal Grandparents James and Mary Williams, Father James Williams, Sister, Jane Ann Logan. Michael is survived by his loving Fiancé, Rachel Hopson; Mother, Katherine Williams; Sisters, Kristi (Randall) Pickett, Lori Williams, Sheila Nunn; Nephews, Robbie Logan, Matthew Logan, Sean Logan, Charles Logan, and Ryan Roche; Nieces, Makenzie and Lara Pickett, Kayla Lay, and Holly Smith; Great-Nieces, Cali Logan, Marli Logan, Mia Logan, Ava Lay and Great-Nephews Uriah Logan, Quinn Lay, Aunts and Uncles, Jane and JB Garner, Larry and Gloria Jones, Raymond and Eunice Jones; Special Cousins, Rhonda and Tom Wells, and a host of devoted extended family members. The family will receive friends from 4 - 7 pm Thursday at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home, 2300 Adair Drive. The funeral will follow at 7 pm. Reverend Jack Dean will officiate. Family and friends will meet at 12:45pm Friday for the 1 pm interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
