Ronald Dee Boles, age 87, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025 at UT Medical Center. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. Ronald retired from Rohm and Haas after 33 years of service. He loved people and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Preceded in death by parents, Bud Boles and Ruby Ault; and son-in-law, Tom Lively.
Survived by wife of 69 years, Bernice Johnson Boles; children, Rhonda McCulley, Melanie Kinsler (Darrell), Tonya Moore (Johnny), Ronald Boles II, and Pam Lively; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; twin brother, Donald Boles; several nieces and nephews. Thanks to the nurses and staff of UT Medical Center for the excellent care they gave to Ronald.
The graveside service will be 1 pm Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. William Purvis officiating. Family and friends will meet at Greenwood Cemetery at 12:45 pm Tuesday.
