Sharon “Sherry” Self, age 60, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017. She was employed by Knox County Schools. Preceded in death by parents, JoElla and Charles Keith; grandmother, Lois Wells; great granddaughter, Ava Grave Tarver. Survived by husband Gary Self; son, Brian and Lynn Self; daughter, Kelly and Justin Turner; grandchildren, Emily (Ryan) Tarver, Allison (Stephen) Sewell, Tyler and Alex Self, Adam, Andrew, Lydia and Kay Leigh Turner; great grandchildren: Kason and Grayson Tarver and Mason Sewell; a multitude of cousins and friends; best friend, Nancy Donahue; special friend, Ashley Huffaker. A special thanks to her many co-workers and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7pm Thursday with the funeral to follow at 7pm. Entombment will be at 11 am Friday at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
