Crumley, Tyler Harrison age 23 of Knoxville. Tyler was born on July 7, 1990 and left his life here on earth on January 5, 2014 to go be with the Lord. He was met there by his grandparents, Betty May, Bob & Marian Crumley. Nana would have looked and said “Well, Tyler, what are you doing here?” Mamaw would have pinched his cheeks and Papaw would have chuckled. Tyler loved living and lived a full life that was full of joy and adventure. In elementary school, he was voted Student of the Year at Sterchi Elementary. In middle school, he was the boys’ basketball manager and voted Mr. Powell Middle School. He loved being a Powell Panther and being a part of the Sparkle Cheerleading Squad prior to graduating at Powell. He loved to travel and was able to get to do so much in his short life here on earth. What he lacked in height, he made up with personality and ego. He was 6 feet tall in his eyes. He liked to boast that he proved Dr. Kopits wrong and lived into his 20’s, since Dr. Kopits had told him that he would never live into his 20’s. Tyler had Morquio Syndrome and touched the lives of whomever he came into contact with. He was typically always happy and loved his family and friends. He always had a huge smile on his face and was up to some mischief when he could catch you off guard. He loved going to movies and staying up to date on all of the newest releases. He is going to be missed beyond belief. Per Tyler’s request, his body is being donated for Morquio Research. He felt that if he could help one person that had Morquio by donating his body, then he wanted to do that. He is survived by mother, Cindy May Huffaker, step-dad Danny Huffaker, father, Tim Crumley and step-mother Elain Crumley. Sisters, Sarah Crumley & Katie Crumley Weaver, step-sister Courtney Huffaker, and step-brother Joel Huffaker, his nephew, Blake Weaver and his grandfather that he loved to have wheelchair races with, Fred R. May, Sr. He also leaves aunts and uncles with a host of cousins that he loved to tease. Mike and Kristi Tillery, Fred & Sandy May, Chuck & Rhonda May, Leigh Ann Ridings, Mike and Pat Crumley. His best friend of all time, Travis Luttrell. Plus a host of step-aunts, step-uncles and step-cousins.
