William Joe Hensley, age 54, of Knoxville, passed away Friday, October 14, 2011. He was a member of Local Union 102 Plumbers and Steamfitters. Preceded in death by parents, William Hensley and Carolyn Armstrong. Survivors include daughters, Misty Colwell and husband Michael, Autumn Jones and husband Brandon; son, William Matthew Hensley and wife Kristin; grandchildren, Alanna Heatherly, Liam Hensley, Gavin Hensley, Zach Colwell and Kaitlyn Colwell; sister, Conni Skidmore and husband David; special friends, Donna Maples, Doc, Ralphie and Chuck Fletcher.
Memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Lynnhurst Greenwood Chapel with Pastor Kenny Armstrong officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery for 11:00 a.m. interment on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 6906 Kingston Pike, Suite 201, Knoxville, TN 37919.
