Barbara Joan Hensz, 88, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2020. She was born on September 14, 1932 in Northumberland, Pennsylvania to Arthur and Florence Michael. On December 6, 1953 she married Herbert L. Hensz Jr. In 1954 Herb and Barbara moved back to Harlingen where Herb was born and raised. They lived the duration of their life on the family homestead.
Barbara is survived by sons Patrick Hensz of Manor, Texas, and Kelly (Martha) Hensz of Harlingen, Texas, numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Herb, her son Michael, and brother Ard.
Graveside Services will be held at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Nathan Wendorf officiating.
