Benjamin is survived by his wife, Maria Sweet; sons Benjamin Sweet, III and Jason Sweet (Ashley); daughters Chloe Sweet and Bindi Sweet; mother Amelia Sweet and father Benjamin R Sweet, Sr; brothers David Sweet, Lee Roy Sweet, Charles Sweet, and Daniel Sweet; sisters Linda Sweet Sanchez and Lisa Sweet Jimenez.
He was a loving and caring husband, father, son, and brother. Benjamin loved to cook and bake. He enjoyed being involved in the community and was active in many community elections.
A Visitation for Benjamin will be held Sunday, December 20, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, La Feria, Texas. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service will occur Monday, December 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home in La Feria, Texas with burial to follow at 11:00 AM Heavenly Grace Memorial Park La Feria, Texas 78559.
