She Loved Doing All Sorts Of Arts & Crafts, She Loved Helping People, Very Hard-Working Woman At An Early Age, She Was Our Queen, the one that kept the fort down and at peace.
Chavela is survived by her son Efrain Leija (Pilar Leija); her son Dionicio Leija Jr. (Belinda A. Leija); and her son Isaias Leija (Miriam D. Leija); her grandchild Miko X. Leija, her grandchild Illeana Y. Leija, her grandchild Czarina Leija, her grandchild Kal-El Leija, her grandchild Aslan Leija, her grandchild Sofia Y. Leija, her grandchild Isaias S. Leija Jr. and her grandchild Olivia B. Leija.
Chavela was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dionicio Leija Sr.; her father Oscar Saldivar and her mother Maria T. Saldivar; her sister Mary Martinez and her sister Corina Rodriguez.
A visitation for Chavela will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a burial at 11:00 AM at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Efrain S. Leija, Dionicio S. Leija Jr. , Isaias S. Leija, Miko X. Leija, Kal-El Leija, Aslan Leija, Isaias S. Leija Jr. And David Cruz.
