Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband + Jesse William Gosney; daughter + Dorleah Kay Gosney.
Dorothy accomplished a lot in her life. She chose to give herself to her community and family. She started the P.T.A in Missouri and she was the President of the Democratic party of Jackson County Democratic Club. She started an interest to start Preschooling in schools. Dorothy and Jesse were deeply involved in the First Baptist church they would teach classes for teens and young adults. Cancer Active she and a wonderful group of people would get together to crochet robes, booties, caps. Dorothy lived in Sunrise Beach Missouri what this extraordinary women decides to do is donate stuffed care bears to the police departments, highway patrols, and the fire department so that no child would ever feel alone.
Dorothy is survived by; son Jeffrey William Gosney; and son Kelly Lynn Gosney; companion John Allen Johnson.
A celebration of life for Dorothy will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Harlingen First Church of The Nazarene, 2001 N 7th St., Harlingen, TX. A burial will occur at a future date. In lieu of flowers
