Florentino Acosta, 69 of Harlingen, Texas passed away on January 21, 2023. Our father was surrounded by his wife and all his children by his side at Valley Baptist Medical Center. He passed away peacefully.
Florentino was a Jack of all trades. He was a very happy friendly outgoing person. He was loving in his own way. He made sure his knowledge was left to his children. He loved to dance, travel and enjoy life to the fullest. He drove 18 wheelers and served in the Mexican Army in his early years.
He was married for 50 years and lived a happy life with his lovely wife, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife; Maria A. Acosta daughters: Sonia E. (Michael) Kamp, Edith Acosta, Virginia Acosta, Brenda (Anthony) Gaskill, Azalia Acosta son; Enrique Acosta. Grandchildren; Nathan, Ethan, Althania, Jonathan Jaimez, Leanndra Almaraz, Juan A., Maximus, Logan Garza, Maddox Acosta, Lucas Sanchez, Jet Haggard, Victoria C. Acosta, Jaime, Brandon Gaskill.
