I never wanted this day to come the day were I had to say goodbye and I'll see you in heaven 
I know your happy and at peace now that your with your family members including my mom and uncles 
Grandma you were the best 
You were my best friend and another mother to me you helped raise me and my siblings and I'll always love and appreciate you for that
You were one of the best human beings I've ever known 
You didn't smile much but when you did you and my mom had the best smiles
Y'all's smile could light up a whole room 
I'm going to miss you so much

My condolences to the family of Ms. Mena 
I was one of Sylvia's best friends and co-worker.
It saddens me to know of her mother's passing.
May she rest in peace. May you all find strength and comfort among each other.  May the Lord be with you in this time of hardship. My prayers to all the family. 
Ms. Mena will be missed dearly.  

   

Tio Julio and I would like to send are love and prayers to all of Panchita's children and grandchildren. Panchita was a beautiful person with a loving soul. Julio was so happy that he got to see her two years ago when he came to Harlingen.  I'm sure Sylvia and Art where there to welcome her to heaven with them. Madrecita hermosa, no sé cómo expresar mis sentimientos, no tengo palabras, solamente quiero compartir unos bonitos recuerdos. Fue uste una madre y un padre ala misma vez. Le doy las gracias por todo el amor y por cuidarme y protegerme. Fue una inspiración y la admiro tanto, llevo su sangre en mis venas y por uste soy la mujer que soy. Dios me ha conseguido el orgullo de tener una madre como usted. Eres única.. Eres mi héroe madrecita. Siempre estás en mi corazón y mis pensamientos. Me acuerdo del último fuerte abrazo que nos dimos, era el día de las madres, y sabes Ma' Cierro mis ojos y hasta siento su calor en mi cuerpo. De adolescente tuve el privilegio de estar con uste a su lado en varios restaurantes trabajando. Otra mejor maestra como uste en la cocina no lo hay. Me quedo con unas recetas secretas, y mas que nada madrecita me acuerdo de quedarme chupando los dedos con tanta sabrosura de cada uno de sus platillos. Gracias madre, por las matas que me regaló hace unas semanas para tras. Sabe madrecita, la miro en cada flor que nace. Un día los vemos juntas y al rededor de jazmín, lirio, nochebuenas, rosas, reseda, magnolias y muchas flores mas. 
Le mandamos un fuerte abrazo y muchos besitos, 
 Su hija, Janie, su nieta Amanda y sus nietos Julián, Martín, y Silvan. 

Grandma can’t believe your gone. We all miss you, but I know you’re reunited with Dad & Sylvia, and at peace. I  also know they greeted you at those Golden Gates along with your our son, your Great Grandson, Bruce  Leroy. Danny & I are  so happy for showing Scarlett & Christian so much love. We will forever be grateful for that! Love you!!!
