Joel "Jody" Looper, 37, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 10, 2025, after a four-year battle with cancer. Surrounded by family and friends, Joel found comfort in his strong faith and belief in the hope of resurrection, which gave him peace in his final days.
He is survived by his parents, Diana and Ronnie Looper, his brother Timothy Looper, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Joel will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Jody will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Talk at 7:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559. A burial will occur Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park, 14166 US-83 BUS, La Feria, TX 78559.
