Judy is survived by her two loving children, her son Matthew T. Proske (55 yrs old) and her youngest daughter Kathleen M. Wiesman (42 yrs old).
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin W. Emsley Jr., her loving eldest daughter Melissa A. Proske, her sister Katherine Hoover, and her loving parents Helen and John J. Hoover.
Judy was an motorcycle enthusiast and rode her Harley-Davidson's with pride until she was 75, as she intended to.
She attended Pan American University to obtain her Bachelors of Arts in Biology. She went on to become a teacher, Science Department Chair at Harlingen High School, and Instructional Facilitator at Harlingen High School South. She loved teaching and took joy in every class that she had.
Judy was a strong, kind, and very determined woman with an enduring independent spirit and will be missed immensely by her children and her friends that became her family.
A celebration of life for Judith will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, TX 78559.
