Manuel Carlos Rodriguez

Carlos lived a long life where he enjoyed to spend time at the casinos trying his luck at the numerous slot machines, but he also loved the peace that gardening at home brought him. He was a veteran of the Korean War where he was a sergeant in arms and received numerous Purple Heart medals. After his time in service, he continued as an active participant for the American Legion Post 205 of Harlingen for over 10 years.

Carlos is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mauricia Rodriguez; his children Teresa Guerrero; Daniel Rodriguez (Joanne); Gustavo Rodriguez (Joann); Guillermo Rodriguez (Marisol); and David Rodriguez.

Carlos was preceded in death by his son Carlos Rodriguez.

Mr. Rodriguez also leaves numerous grandchildren to carry his memory.

A visitation for Manuel will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home, 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas 78559. A chapel funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 9:00 a.m., followed by an interment at Heavenly Grace Memorial Park.
