Maria Guadalupe Garza

Maria Guadalupe Garza, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family that adored her on February 15 of 2026.

Maria was born in Michigan to Luis and Olivia Garza. Her family were migrant workers who later settled in Florida, where Maria started her family. Later, Maria moved to Texas and worked as a home health provider to support and raise her youngest son.

Besides spending time with family and friends, Maria enjoyed going to bingo, garage sales, listening, and dancing to tejano music. She was known to love all things cheetah print, and always dressed to impress. She carried herself with grace and a quiet strength, always putting the needs of others before her own.

She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, whose love and strength shaped our family in countless ways.

She leaves behind a family who adored her, and who will forever carry her love in their hearts. Though we are deeply saddened by this loss we are grateful for memories she gave us, the lessons she taught us and the unconditional love she showed every day.

Family and friends and others whose lives Maria touched are invited to the Heavenly Grace Funeral home, 26873 White Ranch Rd., La Feria Tx, where a viewing will be held from 3 PM to 10 PM.

Visitation will be held at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Memorial Park, located at 26873 N. White Ranch Road, La Feria, Texas, 78559, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a celebration of Life at 7:00 pm.

Services are under the guidance of Heavenly Grace Funeral Home & Cemetery, a Dignity Memorial provider. Services are under the direction of Daniel Roberto Gómez, Crispin Garza, and Julissa Maldonado.
