She was born 98 years ago to her loving parents, Pascual Rodriguez and Teresa Martel in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico.
Maria De La Paz is preceded in death by her loving husband, Salvador Reyes as well as her parents.
She is survived by her children, Teresa Zamarripa (Edmundo), Salvador Reyes Jr. (Graciela +) and Maria Luisa Avila (Francisco).
She was a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren. She will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday March 3, 2025 from 2:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M. with a Holy Rosary being said at 6:00 P.M. here at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home located at 26873 N White Ranch Road in La Feria, Texas.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday March 4, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Assumption located in Harlingen, Texas.
Internment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, Texas.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Salvador Reyes Jr, Ignacio Reyes Jr., Alberto Reyes, Jose Luis Reyes, Travis Hunter Longoria, and Francisco J. Avila.
