Rodolfo Rivera, age 72 passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Alamo, TX on September 17, 1947 to Elidoro and Amanda Rivera. He grew up in Houston and San Juan, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his mother Amanda (Urbano) Rivera.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Rivera; his sons, Orlando Rivera and his wife Angelica Castro, Jason Rivera, Rudy Rivera, Rene Rivera and his wife Valerie Rivera, and Andrew Rivera; his daughter Elithia Marshi and her husband Bill Marshi; his sisters, Sylvia Johnson, Rosie Gonzalez, and Gracie Trost; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will receive condolences from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Heavenly Grace Funeral Home; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Harlingen, Texas at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. Rodolfo Rivera will be laid to rest at Heavenly Grace Cemetery on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
