

Born in 1947 in Harlingen, TX, she grew up in San Benito, attended school and graduated in 1965. She worked for the City of San Benito for five years and went on to hold jobs in Houston and El Paso, TX. After returning to the Valley, she worked for the Diocese of Brownsville and for the State of Texas from which she retired in 2004.
Victoria was a devout Catholic and loved taking care of her family. She was an avid reader and liked to do embroidery projects.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Jovita (Gonzalez) San Pedro, her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, José, and her two daughters: Laura Chiota (Felix) and Celina Anderson (Aaron), her two sisters – Mona Ruiz (Luis, Jr.) and Minerva San Pedro and her two brothers – Jesus Mario San Pedro (Leocadia) and José San Pedro. Also, her two nephews – Luis, III, Ruiz and Pablo Ruiz and their children.
Heavenly Grace Funeral Home of La Feria, TX, is in charge of the arrangements. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco, TX, on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. Her ashes will be interred at Restlawn Memorial Park in La Feria, TX.
