Amanda Marie Birchmeier

She was born in Flint, Michigan to Albert and Deborah Comstock on March 21, 1974.

Amanda attended Southeast Christian Church LaGrange Campus. She was a devoted mother; involved in her children's schools as a volunteer daily, never missing an event. Amanda loved the water, she was on the swim team in high school which led to her becoming a lifeguard for many years in college. Being a lifeguard introduced her to the love of her life.

She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law; Karen Trzil.

Left to cherish the memory of Amanda are her husband of 21 years; Stephen Birchmeier, 6 children; Gage, Kora, Ella, Cole, Noah and Aria Birchmeier, parents; Albert Comstock (Betsy) and Deborah Neapolitan (Richard), father-in-law; Duane Birchmeier (Judy), brothers; Christopher Jones (Alma), Matthew Jones and Gabriel Comstock, friend; Rebecca Reihl, extended family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11am with burial to follow at Floydsburg Cemetery in Crestwood, KY. Visitation will be Sunday evening at the funeral home from 2-7pm and Monday from 9:30am until the start of the service.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Renee and Marty Birchmeier, Karen and Jason Henage, Tim and Connie Smith, Liz and Scott Dant, Lance and Lindy Meadows and Karla and Tom Temple for their love and support of Amanda in her last weeks by showing extra love and care to her and her family.
