
He was born to the late Francis "Frank" Marion and Dorothy (Beckley) Woosley on September 2, 1968, in LaGrange, Kentucky.
Belvia was his Dad's sidekick, going everywhere he went and enjoying things together. He loved to go deer hunting and enjoyed casting a fishing line anywhere he could with his best friend, Steve Harp. Belvia worked as a food processor at KFC and Cattleman's. He had a deep appreciation for dogs and cats, and his favorite meal was DQ biscuits and gravy with a coffee.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnnie Woosley; and sister, Valentina "Tina" Aldridge.
Left to carry on the memory of Belvia are his best friend, Steve Harp (Laura); niece, Jennifer Boland (Jeremy); nephew, Brian Woosley (Kimber); longtime friend, Mark Franklin; 5 half-sisters; extended family and community friends.
A celebration of Belvia's life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange at 3pm with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange. A time of gathering will be from 1pm until the start of the service.
HighPoint and Good News Homes in LaGrange were a wonderful resource for Belvia and deserve all the thanks for how they cared and assisted him through hard times. Additionally, many thanks to DQ in LaGrange that became his favorite place for his favorite meal.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to HighPoint Charitable Services to pay forward the help Belvia got.
