He was born to the late Jesse "Pete" Milton and Mary Lillian (Janes) Satterley on November 18, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Bill enjoyed golfing and when he was younger, water skiing and fishing at Dale Hollow Lake. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and Marines during the Korean War. Bill was a member of the River City Radio Controllers, a Louisville organization for remote control model airplanes.
He is preceded in death by his wife of almost 70 years; Helen JoAnn Satterley.
Left to cherish the memory of Bill are his daughter; Gail Swinney, granddaughters; Chandra Meredith (David), Mary Elizabeth Swinney, and Alisa Swinney (Chris Lindsey), great-granddaughters; April, Courtney, Kennedie, Hailey, Abby, Zoe, and Sabrina, great-great-grandchildren; Lexi, Kameran, Lincoln, Skylar, Aliyah, and Camden, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held for Bill at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 3pm with visitation from 1pm until the start of the service. A private entombment will held at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville following services.
