He was a retired electrician and electrical inspector for Oldham, Trimble and Carrol Counties. Jack also served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and belongs to American Legion Post 41.
Survivors include his wife: Irene McKinney; sons: Michael, Mark and Brant McKinney (Coleen); step daughter: Deanna Gibbs; step son: William Plummer (Tracy); grandchildren: Nicole Plummer, Jacob Childs, Alyssa McKinney and Ryan McKinney.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4 PM on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home. Visitation from 2-4 PM on Saturday.
