She was a member of Buckner Christian Church and retired from Jenner Company.
Survivors include her husband: Wally Hitt; children: Brooks Prather (April) and Leah Prather; grandchildren: Kristin Lamb, Blake Prather and Nolan Prather.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Buckner Christian Church with visitation at the church from 5-7 PM.
