June Pfister

He was born on December 3, 1934, to the late Emil and Pauline (Totten) Pfister at home in LaGrange, Kentucky.

June retired from Ford and was a member of the UAW 862. Later in life June and his wife, LaMonne “Bonnie”, enjoyed square dancing. June's favorite title was Papa as he enjoyed being with his grandkids.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Pauline Sharp, Doris Davidson, Helen Moran, and Jack Pfister; and great-grandson, Levi June Pfister.

Left to cherish the memory of June are his wife, Bonnie (Draper) Pfister; sons, Sheldon Pfister (Gina) and Shayne Pfister (Katherine Welch); grandchildren, Tyler Pfister, Sara Garcia (Esmeit), Riley Pfister (Jorge), Darryl Wilkinson (Olivia), Jess Pfister, and Spencer June Pfister; 20 great-grandchildren, sister, Rose Pfister; extended family and friends.

A celebration of June's life will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Noon at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY 40031 with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Louisville, KY. A time of visitation will be from 10am until the start of the service.
