It is with the deepest sadness that the family of Nathan Hammond announce his sudden passing. Nathan was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend.
With a gentle spirit and kind heart, Nathan was generous, had a passion for reading and excelled in academics at Oldham County High School where he was in his junior year. Nathan enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons, board games, and was an accomplished chess player. He also found joy in attending the Renaissance Fair and held a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents and step-parents, Brittany Burgin, Matt Hammond, and Megan Hammond, siblings Isaiah Burgin, Jeremiah, Parker and Melanie Hammond, grandparents and step grandparents Sherri Williams, Tony and Candy Hammond, Susan Hammond and Stephanie Grady, aunt Brooke Montano (Angel III), cousins Margot, Angel IV and Juliana Montano, great grandparents Ken and JoAnn Connelly, and many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Nathan is preceded in death by his grandfather Mike Williams, and great grandparents Carl and Frances Hammond.
Visitation will be held Sunday, March 9th at Heady Radcliff Funeral Home, 706 W. Jefferson Street, LaGrange KY 40031, 1pm -5pm with a celebration of life starting at 5pm.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to the KY Suicide Prevention Group or Lucky Cat Café.
