

He was born to the late Chester and Annie Bowman in Louisville, KY on September 13, 1944.
Ronnie retired from Phillip Morris after 24 years. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 110 since 1967 and the Valley Daylight Masonic Lodge. Ronnie served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg. He loved his Friday nights spent at the VFW Post 193 playing shuffleboard with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his son; Michael Allen Bowman and brothers; Chester Bowman Jr and Clyde Bowman.
Left to cherish the memory of Ronnie are his wife of 57 years; Gloria Jean Bowman, sons; Ronnie Bowman Jr. (Tina) and Jeffrey Todd Bowman (Amy), grandchildren; Dara Bowman, Christopher Bowman (Whitney), Aaron Bowman (Sarah), Kennedy Bowman, Dylan Bowman and Brooke Bowman, great-grandchildren; Adalya, Dallas, Cameron, Carter, Collin, Sophia, Nora, Kendall and Griffin, siblings; George Bowman (Pat) and Margaret Morris, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held for Ronnie on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, KY with burial to follow at Valley of Rest in LaGrange, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the VFW Post 193in Ronnie's memory.
