She was born in Pleasureville, KY on December 30, 1946 to the late Forest Eugene and Ruth Cathleen Webster. Rose Mary was a member of Westport Methodist Church, was a Corn Island story teller, and enjoyed bird watching and gardening. She wrote daily words of inspiration on Facebook followed by thousands of people all over the world. Most of all Rose Mary loved her family; her children and grandchildren were her life!
She is preceded in death by her granddaughter; Chelsea Clark and sister; Teresa Webster.
Left to cherish the memory of Rose Mary are her husband of 25 years; Michael R. Slaughter, Esq., children; Tom Clark (Vickie), Lauri Clark Carrico (Patrick), Mark Slaughter (Kelley) and John Slaughter (Luba), 8 grandchildren; Josh Clark, Evan Carrico (Maggie Campbell), Brandon Slaughter, Lindsey Carrico, Jack Slaughter, Nathan Slaughter, Anna Louise Slaughter and Alex Slaughter, siblings; Genette Shelton (Jim), Lynn Webster, Larry Webster (Cheryl), Jim Celeschi (Karen), Dan Celeschi, Tony Celeschi (Laurie) and Sue Scott (Dan), extended family and friends.
A celebration of Rose Mary's life will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 2pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange, KY with burial to follow at Pleasureville Cemetery in Pleasureville, KY. Visitation will be from 10am until the start of the service.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Westport Methodist Church.
