Gwen was a distinguished member of the first class to graduate from South Oldham High School, where she excelled in volleyball and softball, earning a scholarship to play volleyball for the University of Louisville. Her career as a Certified Nurses Aid was marked by dedication and compassion.
Her greatest love in life was being a mammaw to her six grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride. Stephanie also cherished her time outdoors, enjoying activities such as hiking, camping, and fishing. She was a friend to all animals and found great comfort in their companionship.
Gwen is survived by her devoted husband, Billy Joe Drury; her loving parents, Brenda and Don Coffey; her sons, Brandon Drury and Wyatt Drury; her sisters, Jessica Ann Hardt, Leah Eubank, and Lauren Sims; her brother, Lachlan Coffey; and her six grandchildren. She is also remembered by extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Dale Ray Cox.
Gwen will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire those she left behind.
A Visitation for Gwen will be held on Saturday, December, 20, 2025 from 12pm-2pm at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 West Jefferson street, LaGrange, KY followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 2pm.
