Viola Grace Stroup 93, died on March 28, 2013, with family by her side in LaGrange, Kentucky. She was born on December 6, 1919 in Buckley, Illinois to Fred and Ethel Bothwell Stroup. She is survived by her sister, Maxine Crews, 6 nieces and 1 nephew. Viola was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Lee Stroup of Louisville, Kentucky and Guy Scott Stroup of Buckley, Illinois.
Viola was a civilian employee of the Navy in San Diego, California for over 40 years. She Resided in La Jolla, California and was quite the golfer. She also co-wrote and edited diabetic cook books.
