They lived in many places, including Japan. Active in her church and community, Andi was always the devoted wife and caring mother. Andi and Ken retired to Lakeway, Texas where she was passionately active in St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Andi enjoyed traveling the world with Ken. In her 80's, she became a member of the Daughters of the King. Andi's life passion is summed up in the Daughters Creed: "I am but one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I ought to do. What I ought to do, by the grace of God I will do. Lord, what will you have me do?" Next, no longer driving, and getting about with a cane or walker, Andi started a church in her retirement community.
Andi was preceded in death by her husband, Ken. She is survived by her sisters Caroline Coleman of Baltimore MD and Lenci Loring of Tucson AZ; her sons Bill Petticrew of New Castle DE and Walter Petticrew of McDade TX; her daughter Betsy Kaetzel of Boise ID; grandchildren Karly Petticrew, Christopher and Anna Kaetzel; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
