Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on February 24, 1948 to Benjamin and Dorothy (Shaner) Reese, Charlotte met her husband, Robert Chris Hess, in her mother’s Sunday school class. The two were high school sweethearts and married on June 8, 1968, eventually settling down in Foster City, California with their two sons, Robert and Ryan. Charlotte was employed as an executive assistant for Visa USA and enjoyed making and selling crafts. After losing Robert to cancer in August 1996, she enjoyed traveling the world, her domino get togethers, going to the theater, and spending countless hours with family and friends.
Charlotte is survived by her son, Robert Christopher Hess, and his wife, Pamela, her son, Ryan Michael Hess, and his wife, Joanna, and her seven grandchildren, Ashley, Connor, Nolan, Brooke, Brady, Rebecca and Keaton.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on July 26, 2025, at Weed Corley Fish Funeral Home, 411 Ranch Road 620 South, Lakeway, Texas.
