Constance Ann Lowe departed this life on her final cruise on Thursday, April 3, 2025. She was 77 years old. Although she took dozens of ocean voyages, she also loved her home and friends in Sante Fe, New Mexico.
Connie was born on November 21, 1946, in Midland, Texas to Claude (Ted) and Inez Lowe. Connie’s formal education consisted of a B.A. in English and History from Southern Methodist University, M.A. in Training and Learning Technologies and Ph.D. in Organizational Learning and Instructional Technologies from University of New Mexico.
Constance was a lifelong learner, had an insatiable curiosity, and found many jobs of interest over the years. After her retirement, Constance sought adventure in traveling to every continent and most countries in the world to discover novel cuisine, animals and birds, and landscapes through her photographic lens. Through knitting and crafting, she found friends wherever she went. She was also an avid soccer fan and lifelong member of the Democratic party.
Constance is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister, Victoria Jane Lowe, of Austin, TX and cousin Mary Ralph Lowe, Ft. Worth, TX., and Jana Oyler, friend and assistant.
