In 1976, Edward received his PhD in Business Administration. He taught at DePaul University, University of Dallas, and Georgia College, before retiring from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas, in 2001.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Dolores; his sister Sandra Prather; and his daughter-in-law Kathy. He is survived by three sons: Edward, Jr.; Michael and daughter-in-law Christine; and Thomas and daughter-in-law Elaine; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A loving husband, father and grandfather, his memory will live on.
Visitation July 26 from 5:30-8:30 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, Lakeway with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass July 27 at 11:00 am at Emmaus Catholic Church, Lakeway.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or Emmaus Catholic Church.
