Joy L. Lindholm, age 91 passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. She was born Oct 13, 1932 in Austin, Texas to Claude Avis & Minnie Cowan Ward. She grew up in the Four Points area- FM 2222 & Hwy. 620 area surrounded by many Ward and Cowan relatives.
During her lifetime, she lived not only in Texas but California and Arizona.
Joy loved to work in the yard surrounded by beautiful flowers. She got that from her mother who always had an outstanding yard. She also loved to go to garage sales and find bargains!!
She accepted Jesus as her Savior as a child.
Joy was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers and 2 sisters and 5 of her 9 children – Gary Davis, Sherry Dismukes, James Lindholm, Billy Lindholm and Denise Lindholm.
She is survived by daughter Carolyn Davis Bonnet and husband Troy, Jerry Davis and Bessie Lunsford, Steve Dismukes, and Debbie Lindholm Rogers, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Joy will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 at10:00 AM at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 411 Ranch Road 620 South, Lakeway, TX 78734. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery, 2800 Hancock Dr, Austin, TX 78731.
