Patrick Dewayne Benefield

Patrick was born in Plantation, Florida on March 5, 1992 to Dewayne and Belinda Benefield. He attended Lake Travis High School and went on attend the College of Healthcare Professionals. Patrick worked as a radiology technologist for Carenow Lakeway.

Patrick had many interests, including golf, music, and football, in particular the Dallas Cowboys and the University of Texas Longhorns. He loved people and loved making them feel better. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. Patrick had the biggest heart and was devoted to his family and friends.

Patrick is survived by his father, Dewayne Benefield of Lakeway; his mother, Belinda Benefield of Elysian Fields; his sisters, Sabrina (Gene) Castle and their sons Will and James of Longview, Angelia (Kent) Murphy of Forney; Jamie Bowden and her sons Athan, Tuff, and Tex of Elysian Fields, and Melissa Nelson of Wimberley; the love of his life, Christine Wilson of Lakeway.

He was preceded in death by his aunt and namesake, Patricia Benefield.

A visitation for Patrick will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis, 411 Ranch Rd 620 South, Lakeway, Texas 78734. A funeral service for Patrick will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 11:00 am at Life Family Austin Chapel, 8901 State Hwy 71, Austin, Texas 78735. A visitation will take place at the church beginning at 10:00 am, prior to the service.
