Randy was born in Peoria, Illinois and grew up in Elmwood, Illinois. He was lovingly known as “The Elmwood Kid” and excelled at academics and athletics. Randy was an amazing salesman and moved the family to God’s County – Texas – in 1971 for a sales opportunity in Dallas. In 1974, he moved the family to Austin and eventually found his life career in the oil and gas industry.
Randy’s life was a testament to the life changing power of Jesus Christ. At the age of thirty-three he became a Christian and studied The Bible daily. His family is comforted with the knowledge that he is with our Lord and living his best life! Randy was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2017. During his last months, a visiting Chaplin prayed with him and engulfed in his faith Randy stated, “The battle is the Lord’s.” This was Randy. He completed his journey as a faithful servant.
Randy is survived by his wife, Diana; Son, Mitchell Snider; daughter Denise Isenhour and husband David; grandsons David Isenhour, Jr., and Christian Isenhour.
A private celebration of his life will be held by his family. If you asked Randy what he would want his last message to be, he would want you to know Jesus Christ. He would want you to know that the relationship you have with Jesus Christ is the most important decision you will ever make. Romans 1:16, Romans 10:9-13, John 3:16
