

Ronald William Moore, lovingly known as “Papa,” was born on March 30, 1940, and grew up in Huntington, West Virginia. He passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026 leaving behind a legacy defined by devotion to family, friendship, and a life well lived.
Ron met and married the love of his life, Lynn Morgan, affectionately known as “Baba,” and together they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. Over the past 14 years, they made their home in Lakeway, Texas, where they continued to build cherished memories with their family and friends.
Ron and Lynn were blessed with two children, Ronnie and Bridgit, and a growing family that brought Ron immense pride and joy. He was a devoted grandfather to Tanis, Tatum, Norman, William, Dylan, Logan, and Mia. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Lena, Elliott, Josie, Olen and August. Nothing meant more to him than time spent with his family.
Ron was the founder of Ron Moore and Associates, a sporting goods sales company he built through hard work, determination, and strong relationships. His success allowed him to retire at the age of 55, after which he and Lynn moved to Naples, Florida, where they embraced retirement and new adventures together.
Ron loved golfing and traveling the world. Ron and Lynn enjoyed going on over 50 cruises and visited many countries all over the world. His favorite trip was going to Brussels to visit his son, Ronnie and grandkids, Norman and William. But above all else, he loved being present for his family. His unwavering support and presence were gifts his family will carry with them forever.
He cared and gave back to his community. He was always willing to help people in need. He volunteered for several years at Friends of the Park in Lakeway. He drove the golf cart and volunteered at Naples Hospital as well as was a member of Knight of Columbus.
He is preceded in death by his mother Peggy, father Carmel, sisters Linda and Barbara. He is survived by his wonderful wife, Lynn, son Ronnie, daughter Bridgit and her husband, Myles. As well as 7 grandkids and 5 great grandkids. He is survived by his sister, Perky.
The family would like to thank Liz, PALS and nurses at Belmont Village as well as Michelle and Cynthia from Silverado Hospice.
Family and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Emmaus Catholic Parish at 1718 Lohmans Crossing Rd, Lakeway, Tx 78734 on Saturday, February 28th at 10am. Followed by a reception at Myles and Bridgit’s house.

Ron will always be remembered for his deep love for his friends and family, and the joy he brought to those around him.
Ron’s legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and the family who loved him dearly. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
