

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Vernon Brashear and her sister, Linda Richardson. She is survived by her brother, Byron Brashear, nieces Donna Ballard and Lisa Ashworth, an aunt and uncle and numerous cousins.
Sharon grew up in Beaumont, Texas, and graduated from French High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education from Lamar University.
She was co-owner of the former "Forget Me Not Shops". Prior to this, she was a school teacher in the Clear Creek School District.
Sharon was friendly, kind and considerate and she always enjoyed talking to people. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Houston and she attended Riverbend Church. She was president of the Lakeway Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association where she thoroughly enjoyed her volunteer work.
She will especially be missed by her cat Marty, and Border Collie, Sheila.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Weed-Corley-Fish Lake Travis Location, 411 RR 620 South, Lakeway, Texas.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Smith Chapel at Riverbend Church. Burial will follow in the San Marcos City Cemetery, San Marcos, Texas.
Pallbearers will be: Clark Regan, Barry Brashear, Bob Grissom, Mike Matney, Eric Barto, and John Suchyta.
