

Suzanne was born in Houston, Texas on September 29, 1935. She was the oldest of three children born to Othma and Grace Seaman. She graduated from Lamar High School in Houston. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in art history from H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College at Tulane University in 1957.
She married Roland D. Jackson, M.D. in 1957 and they began a family in Houston, Texas. Suzanne was a loving and devoted wife and mother of her four children: Mike, David, Julie, and Catherine. After Roland retired from a distinguished career as an orthopedic surgeon, he and Suzanne moved to Spicewood, Texas and later to Lakeway, Texas. They loved the company of family and friends and traveling around the world. Suzanne was a perfect homemaker who loved raising her children and grandchildren. She always seemed to be in a happy mood. She enjoyed hosting dinners, cooking, art, and needlepoint. She will be greatly missed.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband Roland Jackson, her oldest son Michael "Mike" Jackson, her father Othma Seaman, and her mother Grace Seaman.
Suzanne is survived by her son David W. Jackson, M.D., daughter Julie Turrentine and husband Rick Turrentine (with granddaughter Kathryn, grandsons James and John), daughter Catherine Jackson (with grandsons Tor and Anton), daughter-in-law Diane Jackson (with grandsons Brady, Bryce, Justin [deceased], and granddaughter Brittany), sister Charlotte Petty and husband Larry Petty, M.D. (with nephews Robert and Bryan), brother Bob Seaman (with nephews Eric [deceased] and Chris).
A Celebration of Life will be held at one o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 13th of June 2015, at Roland and Suzanne's home in The Hills, Texas.
