Will graduated from Eisenhower High School in Houston, TX. He excelled in many sports and activities including baseball, basketball, tennis, and golf. You could often find Will fishing in the golf course ponds most days. Throughout his life, Will would never walk by a piano without playing it. He was an immensely talented piano player.
Will went on to study Computer Science and Economics at The University of Texas, Austin. He worked as a software developer, programmer and coder, creating critical software solutions for a host of clientele across the country. His business trips to Las Vegas were a favorite.
Will lived the last 15 years in Lakeway, TX, co-parenting his two daughters, Ava and Audrey. Will loved to play golf with his friends, to fish, and to compete in a bowling league with his buddies. He loved to meet up with friends after work or after a round of golf. Will also loved hunting and fishing at his family’s Texas ranch. Those who knew him will always remember how he loved Elton John and Heart, how he loved to tell stories and could be considered a professional ‘pot-stirrer’. He loved to coax people into debate and “stir the pot”. He loved to laugh. Will was so proud of his two girl’s accomplishments and attended most every competition or performance.
Will is survived by his daughters, Ava Pearl and Audrey Lynn, whom he loved very much, his mother, Oueida Evelyn Squyers, his sisters Rhetta Shultz and Kimberly Cox, brothers-in-law Bill Shultz and Kurt Cox, nieces and nephews Sarah Zeigler, Melanie Love, Jonathan Shultz, Christopher Cox, Megan Danna, Jessica Gray, and Zachary Cox, and great-nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends both near and far.
