

Charlie Will Jones Jr. Born on July 19th 1941 to Charlie Will Jones Sr. and Annie Lois Hood Jones in Ethelsville Alabama. Charlie was also known as (Junior) to family and friends Charlie was the 4th child of seven, Henry, Betty Ruth, Billie, Charlie, Arthur, Polly and Vallerie.
Charlie attended Hopewell high school in Reform Alabama, graduating in 1961. Charlie continued his education at (FAMU) Florida A&M University in Tallahassee Florida studying Culinary Arts. After attending (FAMU), Charlie decided to move to Los Angeles California with his younger brother Arthur.
After moving to California Charlie began a long career at Lever Brothers for almost 30yr. with the company Charlie worked in numerous departments and held many job titles receiving many accolades for his performances.
Charlie and daughter Kimberly met Lydia Askew and her son Kelly Robinson, Charlie and Lydia Married and in that union, brought forth twin daughters Steffany and Tiffany.
After Many years in Los Angeles Charlie and Lydia decided to relocate to Antelope Valley, where Charlie continued to work for Lever Brothers until the company related to Georgia which ending Charlie career with Lever Brothers.
Being the man, he was Charlie redirected his talents to become a truck driver, driving for Swift for a shirt time then becoming a Bus driver for AVTA (Antelope Valley Transit Authority) Charlie received many awards and accolades for his performance. Charlie worked for AVTA for 13yrs where he retired at the age 70.
Charlie was a humble man of great faith and loyal to God almighty serving as a deacon for over 15 yrs. Charlie was a great man and well respected in his community and loved by many. Charlie was a God-fearing hard-working man who always put God first and providing for his family.
Charlie had a personality and smile that would light up any room which allowed him to accumulate friends every where he went through out his life. Charlie had a loving and giving heart. Charlie loved gardening had a real green thumb, Charlie was also a huge sports fan especially baseball his favorite team was the Dodger you wouldn’t catch Charlie with out his dodger hats, shirts, jackets ect’s Charlie was loved and will be gravely missed.
Charlie leaves a wife Lydia Jones 3 daughters, Kimberly Jones, Steffany Jones, Tiffany Jones and one son Kelly Robinson. 4 grandchildren, Chaine Hill, Emma Robinson, Katherine Robinson, Kelly Robinson Jr, Brother Arthur Jones and sister Vallerie Henry and a hosted of nieces and nephews.
Family that preceded before Charlie. Mother Annie Lois Hood Jones, Father Charlie Will Jones Sr., Brothers Henry Hudgins, Billie Hudgins, and sisters Betty Ruth Perkins and Polly Jones.
