

Age 95, of Lancaster, California passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with multiple health issues on June 2, 2021. She was surrounded by family and friends. Born on August 12, 1925 in Questa, New Mexico, Faye was the third of eight children born to Bernabe and Florinda Jaramillo.
Faye was preceded in death by her daughter Gaydean Selph, her granddaughters Brenda Stults and Mindy Mossman, her brothers Hernando, Fred, Eleve and Ernesto Jaramillo and her sister Rose Cisneros. She is survived by her beloved husband of over 73 years, William as well as her children, Valentine Robillard (Roger) of Lancaster, CA, Jack Mossman (Nancy) of Palmdale, CA, and Bill Mossman (Lola) of Lowell, Arkansas. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren: Sherri Annoreno, Deanna Mosher, Brandy Stephenson, Larry Stults, Amanda Stults, Leslie Garcia, Katherine Mossman, Jacquelyn Mossman, Jack Mossman II and Andrew Mossman. In addition she is survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren an nine great great-grandchildren.
Faye graduated Questa High School in Questa, New Mexico. She began working in the food service industry in the tourist town of Red River, New Mexico. Faye met the love of her life, William Mossman, a Molybdenum miner from Red River, New Mexico. they married a short time later in 1948 and subsequently moved to San Diego, California in 1951 to raise their two daughters Gaydean and Valentine and two sons, Jack and Bill Mossman. Bill lovingly referred to Faye as his Jewel.
Faye began her career in the aircraft industry working at the Lockheed Plant 10 in Palmdale, California around 1972. After twenty years in the aircraft manufacturing industry, she took an early retirement to begin her love of travel with her husband, William.
Faye's family meant everything to her, and she would fiercely protect their interests and see that they felt valued and loved. She was capable of sensing everyone's mood and emotional state and was always sympathetic and kind. With her strength and optimism during her life, she was a perfect example of enjoying life even with the limitations that came with her failing health. Faye loved her kids and grandkids so very much and she will be missed by all those who love her dearly. A special thanks to her caregivers, her daughter Valentine Robillard and granddaughters Deanna Mosher and Amanda Stults.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9th from 3-5 p.m. at Joshua Mortuary 808 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93535
A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, June10, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Lancaster, California with burial to follow at Joshua Memorial Park.
