It is with deep sadness that I join with Fernando's friends, colleagues and co-workers to express my condolences to his wife Misako and kids, Mariana, Victoria and Fernando Jr. 

I had the pleasure of knowing Fernando at the plant for just over 5 years and among the many qualities I will treasure about Fernando is his humility. Fernando had a huge heart and cared about his co-workers. He would do just about anything within his power to make a difference in someone's life by being a peace loving soul.

Fernando, my friend, you have made a meaningful difference in my life and have been an inspiration to us all. 

May the flames of your candle continue to shine bright in the hearts and lives of those who were fortunate to be touched by your existence.

My heart goes out for the family, wife and children. I have had the privilege to work with Fernando for 6 years; I was truly amazed by his positive, energetic attitude towards life, his systematic and professional approach when it came to work. I always enjoyed talking to him about sports, especially hockey. In one of our last conversations he was pretty excited about the start of the season for the LA Kings; I will cheer for them with this precious memory! He will always be remembered...
