Born on January 20, 1954, in Rochester, NY, passed away on December 18, 2017 ,in Palmdale, Calif. Joseph grew up in Alhambra, Calif. and graduated Alhambra High. He was a resident of the Antelope Valley for 33 years. Joseph retired from Vons as a Produce Manager in 2004. His experience with Pony League Umpiring inspired a second career that became his passion. He worked High School Ball, Community College Ball, and Divison 1 College Softball. Joseph is survived by his wife, Teresa Campanella; daughters, Kristin Torres and Amy Berner; step-daughters, Jacqueline Heston and Valerie Heston; grandchildren Alexandria and Rupert; mother, Rita Campanella; siblings Mary Ann Haggerty, Chris Campanella, Lisa Figueroa, and Louis Campanella and many In-Laws, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 27, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster, Calif.
