Katherine Miller was born on December 8, 1932 to the parents of the late Louis and Viola Madison of New York City. Katherine was the eldest of seven children and she was raised and educated in the New York City Public School System.
In 1952, Katherine was introduced to G. Ernest Miller, whom was serving in the U.S. Army. They joined hands in marriage on August 31, 1955 and to this union were born five children: Karol, Karen, Barbara, George and Donald. They raised their family in Ernest's hometown, Pittsburgh, PA.
Katherine accepted Christ in her life and was a member of Homewood A.M.E. Zion Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as well as a member of the Annie L. Anderson Missionary Society. She was also employed as a machinist for Joseph Rogow and Son and retired after 25 years of dedicated service. Upon moving in 2011 to California, Katherine became a member of Antelope Valley Christian Center.
She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted husband, G. Ernest Miller, three daughters, Mrs. Karol Tillman (Pittsburgh, PA); Mrs. Karen Bell and Ms. Barbara Miller (Lancaster, CA); two sons, George Miller and Donald Miller (Jacksonville, FL); fourteen grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren; two brothers: Louis Madison Jr. (California), Harold Madison (New Jersey); one sister: Elaine Madison (New York City) and a host of relatives and friends.
