Lynda Moberg

Funeral services for Lynda TerKeurst Moberg, a long-time resident of Palmdale, will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Joshua Memorial Park and Mortuary, 808 East Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA. The family will greet friends prior to and following the service. Burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery.

Mrs. Moberg passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017, in Palmdale. She was born March 20, 1939 in Mobile, Alabama, the daughter of the late Ernest and Myra (Yates) TerKeurst. She was united in marriage to Henry Moberg on May 10, 1958. They were married 58 years, until his death December 7, 2016. They enjoyed many things together, especially traveling to state and national parks.

Lynda was a long-time resident of Palmdale and worked as a postal carrier. Her hobbies included reading, sewing, and gardening. She enjoyed attending church camp meetings and going to the beach at Gulf Shores, Alabama. She loved hummingbirds, flowers, and her dogs. Most of all, Lynda loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Lynda loved our Lord Jesus. She attended Palmdale Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Nona Moberg Kelly, son-in-law, Bill, and granddaughters, Elizabeth and Ashley; four siblings, John TerKeurst (Diana), Wanda TerKeurst Edwards (Bill), Diane TerKeurst Carter (David), and David TerKeurst (Shelley); sister-in-law, Linda (Moberg) Batts; brother-in-law, Roger Moberg. She also leaves several aunts and uncles, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Lynda was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mom and sister. She will be missed.
