From the time our friendship started as neighbors in 1979 to this day and beyond, Mike will always be in our hearts.  We had many adventures together through the years, all of which are treasures to both of us. Thank you Mike for being the kind of man that anyone would want on their team!!

Well it's been over a month since my big brother Michael passed. Not a day goes by without thinking about him. Wanting to pick up my phone and call him or text him with random silly thoughts. His one liner comments always made me crack up. How in this crazy world do we move on with losing such a big presence in our family life. All us siblings Diane Renee and myself Annette, had a tier system going all our lives about who's the top tier, and the bottom tier. Well Michael appointed himself top tier #1 of course, we also called him King Boo Pop the leader of us siblings. I miss him so much it hurts. My big brother, my hero, the best brother anyone could be blessed with. The Bottone lives will never be the same without him here with us. I love you big brother. From your favorite sister Annette.

Peace be with you Michael.  You are now with God and your Dad and those loved ones that have past before you.  You have left this world but you still watch over your Family.  I am so blessed to of known you.

We met Mike and Lucia when we joined AV Corvettes. Had lots of fun doing the local homecomings with him. He will be missed.

we live between the two eternities and the time spent in that sharing of time is to be cherished.  We shall miss our friend and are assured that we shall meet again.  Our profound condolence in your loss Lucia.

I worked with Mike for over 40 years starting with General Motors Van Nuys plant then on to RTD and retiring from LA Metro.  Mike was the most dedicated hard working family man I have ever known.  I will miss him, he has been part of my life.  Lucia our love and prayers are with you.

Mike was my California cousin who brought great energy and fun to Ohio when he visited.  When Mike was around you could always count on a good time, tons of laughter and a rendition of his Howard Cosell impersonation. He certainly had a special place in our hearts and will be remembered with the fondness of memories. He was a great cousin and will be truly missed.  Deepest condolences and prayers to the entire Bottone family during this very difficult time and the tragic loss of Mike.

There are few men in this world who were as generous, humorous, or well-liked as my Uncle Mike.  I don't think I ever told him how much I respected and admired him, and I most certainly never told him enough how much I loved him.  The constant banter we traded back and forth via email during the  NCAA March Madness basketball tournament will always be some of the most treasured memories of my life.  I will miss him greatly and my thoughts, prayers, and love go out to my Aunt Lucia, Grace, my cousins Mike and Favian, and the rest of my family who have lost a brother, son, uncle, and godfather.  He truly was one of the greatest men I've ever known in my life and I am so grateful that he was my Uncle Mike.

I met and befriended Mike's wife, Lucia, when we attended citizenship preparation school together almost 40 years ago.  Our friendship soon included both our families, and my husband and I counted Mike and Lucia and their family among our dearest friends.  I will never forget the times we shared dinners at our home or at theirs.  After my husband passed away, anytime I needed anything Lucia would always say, Mike, go help Shouing!  Mike would always come.  He was never too busy to help me in anyway he could.  I don't know the words to say how much we will miss Mike.  He truly was a wonderful man and a loyal friend.  My heart goes out to Lucia and his family.

Like many of us, I met Mike through the Corvette Club and he was a very special friend of all of us.  I resigned for health reasons last year but I think I will consider re-joining in his honor. Loyal friends are hard to come by and Stevette and I are proud to have been his friend. Our thoughts are with Lucia and Mike's family.

We will miss Mike. He was a wonderful person. He'll truly be missed by us.  Sending prayers your way.

Sadly, I just met Mike a few weeks before his death.  Mike's wife and my mother-in-law are long-time friends, and she took me to visit Mike and Lucia.  I liked him instantly.  On our first visit I really enjoyed his humorous account of how he and his wife met and fell in love, and when I saw him last we talked for hours about work, travel, and family.  I was looking forward to making a new friend.  Sorry that I will not have that opportunity.

I met mike and lucia 2 years ago mike was a very nice man he loved my kids he was very nice to us to my family the last time I was with mike was on sunday last week we went to little ceasars pizza him and my kids he was a very good man he will be missed!!!

"We met Mike and Lucia through the AV Corvette Club.  We both retired and enjoyed playing golf. Mike and I joined the RV Senior Golf Club and shared our love of the sport. We would meet for breakfast prior to going to play. We would also ride together for away tournaments. He was my golf buddy and I will truly miss him."

I had the pleasure of working with Mike at RTD, MTA and LA Metro for so many years. Meeting his wife Lucia and son Michael was an added pleasure.  we had so many good times together in Mexico, work Christmas parties and golf outings.  He will surely be missed.  My prayers to Lucia, Mike Jr, and family.  May god embrace Mike in heaven to watch over us always.

I first met Mike at work in the early part of 1980.  He is someone who helped me throughout my entire work career at LA Metro.  He was truly a good work buddy and mentor.  We have had many opportunities to travel together and I also was fortunate for my family to meet Mike's family and wife Lucia.  I also was taken in by Mike's entire family at a family Reunion in Ohio or Michigan.  Mike, I am sure you will be looking out from above to keep your family strong.  I will miss you buddy more then you know.  My prayers are with you and the Bottone family.
