My dearest sweet aunt Monica. I haven't been on Facebook in years. I decided to see if I can reconnect with my lost family. Last we talked and was told uncle Charles passed we talked for 3 hours and that was the last time I heard your beautiful voice. I tried reaching out to cousin Sandy and Charlie and no reply. I love and miss you and  Uncle Charles  so much. I'm so sad I never got to see you or the family again. I never got to meet my mom's side of the family or got to know anyone but you guys. You were all I knew I'm so devastated to find out this way by scrolling on Facebook looking for you. Now you can rest easy with (Uncle Charles) my mom - your sister (Miriam)  your mom and dad. I love you all so much and I hold you so close to my hearts. I hope I can reunite with my brother Wes and cousin Charlie and Sandy. I had so many good memories with you ❣️ fly high angel. xoxoxoxoxo

To Monica’s Family and Friends,

I am so very sorry for your loss. 

Monica was a wonderful woman, mentor, mother and friend. 

I met her through her class she taught. I was one of her students and she was an amazing teacher and a wonderful friend and mentor. 

She had so many stories and so much wisdom. Oh I hope she knew how much I loved and cared for her and all that she was. 

I would keep in touch with her often and when I didn’t hear from her this past Mother’s Day, I thought maybe she had lost my number, little did I know that heaven gained another angel, just 10 days after my birthday. I am so heart broken and saddened to know she is no longer with us here on this earth. But I look forward to seeing her again. 

She spoke of her kids so fondly and always teased me about being her daughter-in-law. 

Praying for peace and comfort as we continue to live life without this beautiful woman by our sides. 

What a blessing Monica was, she will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Always and forever in our hearts, minds and memories.

I was devastated today when I heard Monica passed away. I am so thankful to have had her in my life. She always had a smile on her face. Monica loved her children and little dogs. Monica was such a beautiful soul.   I am heartbroken to hear of her passing, but find comfort knowing she is reunited with her husband.  

Charlie, my heart breaks for you in these moments.  I think of your mom often, and I will forever have the fondest memories of her.    I’m so sorry

Monica had such a big heart and could turn anything negative into a positive. If you were down , she would encourage you to do better. Her smile was like a lit candle that brightened up the room. If she laughed I laughed. What joy she brought to this world.
